Mergu is a character on the AMC gothic horror drama, Talamasca: The Secret Order.
Biography
Mergu was a vampire who, in 1271, informed a coven about Vesel, who fed off of chickens instead of humans. Vesel was banished from the coven and later sought vengeance in the 1920s. With the help of a Talamasca agent, Vesel learned of Mergu's identity. Vesel slaughtered Mergu and most of Mergu's coven, killing 17 individuals. Jasper, the only survivor, eventually made his way to Texas. Jasper later went to London and took over the Talamasca motherhouse as a means to seek vengeance and bring the Talamasca down.[1]
